Multi-Instrumentalist from Perth Western Australia, McKale Barrett, is primarily a electric / fretless / upright bass player, with his style influenced from many artists such as Joe Dart, Flea, Michael League and Stevie Wonder.

McKale is currently a student at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Studying a Bachelor of  Music (Jazz) After had completing the Diploma of Music (Contemporary) to further extend his knowledge and experience within the music industry. A disciplined player, McKale has passed an AMEB Grade 8 electric bass exam and has received the AMEB Gold Award.

McKale is a rising figure in the Musical Theatre scene, Playing a mix of bass and guitar for multiple productions such as; The Addams Family,  Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Godspell And The World Goes ‘Round. McKale has performed at many major venues such as, RAC Arena, Perth Concert Hall, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC), Crown Perth, and other well-known venues around the city of Perth.
